Job Description
We are looking at hiring a Tech Lead who will be an intrinsic part of Agile Development teams. Roles & Responsibilities
- Hire and mentor a team of high-caliber front-end and backend engineers
- Design and develop new user-facing full-stack applications
- Build reusable components and front-end / backend libraries for future use
- Optimize pages for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Optimize backend for high scale
- Experience/exposure in architecture and design
- Experience/exposure in database design and data modeling
- Level of expertise in API implementation
- Practical experience in real-time implementation (rather than just theory)
Required Skills
- 6+ years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 1 year as a Tech Lead
- Experience in Node.JS, React.JS, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, Python, Microservices
- Deep understanding of at least one of React.JS / Vue.JS and its core principles
- Deep understanding of Node.JS
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM
- Familiarity with at least one code versioning tool such as Git, SVN, etc.
- Good understanding of quality JavaScript code (object-oriented and commonly used design patterns)
- Capable of debugging complex issues in JavaScript
- Experience in building complex single-page applications with front-end and backend
- Experience with production full-stack environment debugging and DevOps
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Hands-on coding experience
- Strong experience in API implementation considering security, scalability, and performance
- Strong experience in database design and data modeling for both RDBMS and NoSQL databases
- Strong experience/knowledge in Architecture & Design, NFRs, and the ability to derive technical solutions based on functional requirements (mandatory)
- Exposure to enterprise-quality solution creation from scratch, considering technology fitment to the problem
- Strong, practical hands-on experience needed rather than theory
Good to Have
- Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development
- Experience writing unit test cases with JS frameworks
- Experience with highly scalable applications
- AWS experience
